20 Days of WoW! Day 1 - Introduce Yourself

While I sit and wait and wait and wait... for WoW to download, I decided that I should start this blogging challenge in hopes that I will be done downloading in time to play the Pandaria Beta!

Well my name is Michael, and I am 29, and a closet gamer. Been playing WoW off and on for 7 years. My first real guild totally imploded... Google "Gilgamesh and Onyxia server" and see what happens! I took a 3 year break to devote my life to FFXI (Holla to CaitSith and the DarkMercenaries!)... I work as a bartender at a river-view restaurant. Pretty amazing gig, Work hard and play hard... Talking about playing hard, I do that on occasion... I just got done backpacking Europe for 35+ days. Pretty exciting stuff, saw and experienced so things I would never have been able to.

I also use to teach snowboarding, did that for a few seasons before moving off the mountain. I love the outdoors, gardening, drinking beer, women, playing games, golf, and camping... lol... That totally sounds like a match.com profile...

The DARKSIDE was Terrible!!! FUCK THEIR COOKIES!

That's Right!!! I did go over to the Dark-Side... and the cookies sucked!!! SWTOR, was terrible... I really didn't get it... There was not a whole lot to do... I know, it is new, but come on!!! Don't release a product that can not even compete on the level of WoW... I can hear all the Fanbois, saying, "Nevernude, its new! They are adding new content everyday! I mean it is on par on Vanilla WoW!!!" 

You know what I say to that??? BULL SHIT!!! 

If I was designing a MMORPG for today's market, I would make sure it was at least on par on with the current ones... Why should I wait 2-3 years for a game with options that I can have now??? Makes no sense to me, and if it doesn't make sense to me, GOD HELP US ALL!!!!

Now I am re-installing and hoping to get my pony back... Blizzard you won this round... May your Dreams be filled with Pandas!!! 

I need a HUG!!!!

The journey to 85, is filled with peril and assholes! I do not know how many times I have straight up been kicked out of groups for having just a sword or a book... Has WoW become full of 3 button mashing monkeys that we have lost sight of what we are really supposed to be doing here... and to answer that question... its not obtaining loot.... or running dungeons under 10 mins... or making fun of people out of spite... It's CALLED HAVING FUN!!!

I have seen it time to time again, if you do not conform, you must not know what you are doing... Hey I have pitched shit about people's specs, equipment, the companion pet they had... but that was a dick move... Even in today's society you are still out casted for not following the norm... sad state if you ask me!

So a Plea to all of you out there, be more accepting... you might learn a thing or two! 

Oh quick update on the 2012 Journey... 

296/2012 levels which is approx 15% not bad... 

I am doing it on three different servers too!!! Grizzly Hills, Arygos, and Emerald Dream! So come and join the fun!

Duskwood-Conquered!!!

Yes!! I did it!! I finished 45 quests in Duskwood!! This is so hard by the way, Questing... Reason being is you can only fight mobs that are with in five levels of you... well a mob that is 5 levels lower than me, still keeps it pretty interesting... and then if you do any lower level quests, you do not get any experience which sucks, and the mobs do not  give you experience as well.. so basically you are doing nothing in the game except farming low-level critters that do not really drop anything...

The journey so far has been filled with trials and tribulations, but I will keep my head held up high and go forth towards VICTORY!!! See you all in Stranglethorn Vale!!!!

Bane of My Existence: Blastenheimer 5000 Ultra Cannon

It's that time of the month!!! NO!! Not that time of the month, but Darkmoon Faire Time!! WOOO!!!! I am probably not the only one who is super excited about all the fun games that don't reward any experience,

(Yeah, Blizzard if you are reading this... We should get experience for bopping hogger with a mallet, just saying. It takes a lot of skill to run around and hit my hot key at the right time, more so than any other daily of getting X and giving them to Y)

BANE OF MY EXISTENCE!!!!!

Yep this little Cannon, has caused me so much frustration... and gave me so little satisfaction!

I earn ONE, I said ONE Darkmoon Faire Ticket and 250 reputation with you guys? for what? how about 7 deaths, and 30+ trips back to the cannon, and you want to know how long till I figured out there was a warp back to you???  Just now... Yep that's TWO Months of running back and forth... Not fun!!! But I'll have my day Maxima!!! You will see!!!

I Broke Rule One!!!

Yeah I did Break it... SO what??? I break all sorts of rules, including the most important ones... LOL!!!

But Nevernude doesn't that make you invalid? I mean you should suddenly just explode because of your dire trespassing against yourself????

I obtained it from the Darkmoon Faire, which I must say is pretty awesome!!! Running in Dungeons whipping this thing around bonking Scarlet Crusaders in the head!!! 

I still cant use any other attacks other then Thunderstomp and Auto-Attack, since it's not recognize as a melee weapon... LOL!!! 

I did just hit level 30!! You know what that means??? NOTHING!!! Nothing at happens at 30... such a sad day... well I am off to collect more herbs and bonk skeletons on the head!!!

DILEMMA??? NEVER!!!!

Hi everyone!!!

Yes that's right another update in the same week!!! It has been such an experience so far, that's for sure!

I started this toon back in the day... I mean pre-shattering, before the death of the Lich King, back. in. the. day! It has been fun trying to get readjusted to all the new perks and such... which there are none!!!

I am still Thunderstomping myself through Azeroth, which is pretty fun, and causes grief to healers for some reason. Which brings me up to today's topic, the Looking For Dungeon tool (LFD).

Myself, I love it. Server camaraderie has died, looking to get 4 other people together to run a dungeon is unheard now a days, and can you imagine asking in LFG,

"LFG, Nudetoon, wants to hit things hard with Thunderstomp, repeatedly!! PST for Invite"

It's not going to happen. So I ninja in groups and get to experience some content that I would not of been able to do other wise. This is where the DILEMMA comes in... I am really not contributing to the group DPS-wise. I am good entertainment and keeps the group in great spirits, but I am not really helping... 20 DPS doesn't help against a boss that has 15k hp.



So yeah, I am basically leeching exp. Not GOOD!!! I have decided on a compromise that will keep me from just sitting in LFD and fucking up people's groups, I will only run a dungeon once for the achievement. It has to be level appropriate, and the cool part if people really think I am messing up the group they can kick me... That never happens. "I don't get dropped, I drop the label." - Jay-Z

So if you see Nevernude in one of your dungeon groups, send a wave!!!

Beginning of the end of society

Lets start with Why and how I am going to do this and want this is...

First This...
This is a Journal of my time in World of Warcraft... Yeah I know lame... but whatever.. its not about swords and magic... its about Near Nudity... WoW does not allow you to be completely naked but pretty damn close. There is Character in the game Named "Gutrot" http://www.wowwiki.com/Server:Aerie_Peak_Europe/Gutrot

Basically He gave the traditional WoW the finger, and said I could do this with out all your fancy items, and he did to level 70 which at the time was the highest level... But, A new expansion came out and the level cap was raised to 80.

I decided to take this challenge on myself, with a Human Warrior because anything else is cheating... Mages, Warlocks, Paladins, Priests, Hunters, and Death Knights, can survive with out items. Rogues just suck so good luck with that...

Now the Why

I have been playing this game off and on, and have been looking for something more and I think I have found it with this style of playing, from the first day there has been controversy and I am going to get in to that later. It has just been alot more fun. End of story!

Here are the Rules...

2. No armor that adds +Armor, so Trinkets, Rings, hats, capes, whatever that does not add armor is totally acceptable, but remember the goal is to be as nude as possible...
3. Have fun!!!!
